Die ANhaltestelle is a public space project developed as part of the Klima Biennale Wien 2026, initiated by Marlene Lübke-Ahrens, Anna Krumpholz, Klara Jörg and Elisabeth Ableidinger. Three temporary stops were created across the city as places to pause, linger and connect.
I was commissioned to paint the furniture at each of the three locations, integrating the local surroundings and climate into the visual concept. Thought-provoking questions painted onto the pieces invite passersby to reflect and engage in conversation about climate change.
Throughout the Klima Biennale and beyond, the stops hosted a variety of events. More information on Instagram here.
